The Federal Economic Stimulus Package that became law on February 17, 2009 allows for the deductibility of vehicle sales tax (i.e. titling tax).

What Customers Qualify for the Deduction?

Individual customers with modified adjusted gross income of less than $125,000 or joint-filers making less than $250,000 a year in 2009 qualify for the deduction. This is an “above the line” deduction (for itemizers and non-itemizers) on your Federal tax return.

Any new vehicle purchased from February 17, 2009 through December 31, 2009 – this incentive is NOT retroactive.

Any new vehicle under 8,500 pounds gross vehicle weight qualifies. Any vehicle sold for under $49,500 qualifies for the full deduction. Consumers may deduct sales taxes on the first $49,500 of any vehicle sold above this price.

How to Properly Retrieve Your Prime Referral Reward $$$’s...

It is important to Prime that this program is both FUN and REWARDING for everyone. However, there are three very important rules that we all must follow.

Rule #1:

**The Customer (Referral) you send must ask specifically for your Sales professional by name and notify us that you sent them, BEFORE the sales process begins**

This is very important because a Sales Professionals success is largely based on how well his/her prime Referral Club Member relays information. A portion of the Prime $$$’s reward actually comes from the sales professional. A Prime Referral Club Member that sends a client to see just any Sales Professional must be re-trained on the rule. This rule helps to eliminate any misunderstandings that can sometimes come from a referred client appearing at the dealership on his/her own and more than one Referral Club Member tries to claim them. In order to avoid any confusion and keep the earning experience enjoyable for all, we ask that you follow ONE of the following steps in order to insure a smooth referral transaction...

Call your Prime Sales Professional and give them the Referral's (Customer you are sending) name and telephone number. "OR"

Call or email your Sales Professional and let them know that a Referral (Customer you are sending) is on the way and will ask for them specifically. "OR"

Just have the Referral (Customer you are sending) ask specifically for your Sales Professional by name immediately upon arrival at the dealership. Even if your’ Sales Professional is out at the time, a record will be made of this and you will still receive credit once the sale is made.

Rule #2:

** Remember that Referral Club Members and previous Prime customers cannot be Referral’s (Customer you are sending). If someone has purchased a vehicle from Prime before, or if they have ever received referral $$$’s, they are not considered fair game**

Rule # 3:

In the event that your’ Sales professional is not at the dealership, instruct your Referral client to inform any of our Sales Managers, they will facilitate the reward for you.

Referrals or "a customer that you send to any Prime dealership" will be tracked on an annual basis. On January 1st of each year, everyone will start a new "Referral bank.” Prime Motor Group will send you referral “ $$$’s” each time one of our Sales Professional successfully sells a vehicle to a “Friend, Family member or Co-worker” that you refer!
